jvlsdjfkdfj My laptop has decided one of the registry files is screwed up and now it won't start and I have absolutely no idea where the Vista CD is. *whine* I seriously can't lose the stuff that's on there. =/ Dear Universe, I hate you right now. ;;_;; But...trying to avoid thinking of that, let's post about other stuff: Finally saw Law Abiding Citizen on Sunday. I've only, you know, been waiting to see it since it came out. Hell, I was waiting for a month before it was even released when I saw the trailer. XD;; I thought it was quite good actually, maybe a bit anticlimatic at the end, but it kept me entertained (easy to do, but still... :P). I should know by now not to pay attention to what critics/newspaper reviews say. Granted there is likely a bias in anything I say about it... *shifty eyes* *cough* Gerard Butler: Making Stephanie question her sexuality since 2005 .......that doesn't really work in reverse, does it? XDDD His American accent though, it still manages to throw me off. :P At one point where Gerry's character is being particularly creepy (violent, murderous, etc), I leaned over to my mum and sang, ♬"The music of the night~"♪ to which she replied, "Electric saws." XD I was...er, very glad they didn't show what went on in that scene... =/ ...there were other people in the film weren't there? XD Yeah, Jamie Foxx, he was good too. Although I thought his family wasn't played very well. Or maybe just his daughter, I don't remember, but the acting wasn't so good in those scenes. :P Also, upon watching District 9 a second time, I have realised how much I actually like it. And... *cough* the fanfic is actually pretty good as well. ^^;;; I love the prawns~ ♥ Ahaha, I've been watching a lot of Coronation Street and listening to a lot of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue recently, and now I realise that I'm thinking/talking to myself with an accent. XD I get the feeling if I moved over there, I'd pick it up quite quickly. XD Tags: gerard butler, killing time, law abiding citizen, random Current Mood: gloomy Current Music: Every Night - Bad Girls

My legalese is very bad in any language, so apologies (should have asked screamflydream, oops), but I think this is a gist of it, for those who haven't heard the uproar yet. I've been scouring, but haven't seen anything new in the news sites since last Thursday. Suing the "Takarazuka Music School" for a Retraction of School ExpulsionMSN News - Nov. 4, 2009As of the 4th, it has been made public that a girl (18) who was enrolled at the "Takarazuka Music School" (Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture), which is used to train members of the Takarazuka Revue, has filed a lawsuit in the Kobe district court seeking a retraction of the repulsion and 10,000,000 yen in damages because of "unjust expulsion from the school because there is no veracity to the claim of shoplifting (the cause of her expulsion)".
The lawsuit was filed on the first of this month. According to the legal brief, the girl entered the school in April of 2008, and claims to have been "bullied, starting with data collected without the permission of the school." Furthermore, "classmates made up falsehoods that she had shoplifted from a convenience store." The school accepted the reports in November of 2008, and the girl was expelled.
After being expelled the girl submitted a temporary declaration to the Kobe district court, and a decision was sent down that the expulsion had been illegal, but instead of complying with the decision, the school gave a second notice of the expulsion in February. The girl submitted a second temporary declaration with the district court, which has been recognized, and because the expulsion has not been retracted she is taking the step of filing a lawsuit.
The girl attended school in February of this year, but the school management refused to let her attend, and the girl's attorney says, "I want the student's innocence on record." The school says, "We haven't received the legal brief and cannot comment."
